AJ'S Handyman LLC

We are a father and son owned and operated business that has been serving the Des Moines area(s) for the past two years. After seeing that there was no positive future in our war torn home country of Bosnia our family moved to the United States in search of a better life, we left everything we had behind with a dream of one day being able to create something from nothing - something we could call our own. Once we arrived to America we realized it wasn't as easy as the movies make it seem, so I started going to school and my father worked in a painting factory. After about six years of doing so and realizing we had not gotten anywhere, we decided it was time for us to start our own handyman business. AJ's Handyman has grown tremendously and allowed us to expand to carpet cleaning and water restoration as well as handyman and janitorial services! None of that would be possible without the great customers we have had and friends we have made through our work. I believe that AJ's Handyman and AJ's Cleaning & Restoration are proof that the American dream is alive and well.
